ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
AGE:
You must be at least 18 years old to apply for a CPL.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
You should have completed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board.
MEDICAL FITNESS:
Obtain a Class 1 Medical Certificate from a DGCA approved examiner / centers. This certificate ensures you meet the medical standards required for obtaining CPL.
PILOT TRAINING PROCESS:
EXAMINATIONS:
Clear the written examinations conducted by DGCA such as Air Regulations, Aviation Meteorology, Air Navigation, Aircraft Technical General and Specific.
JOINING A FLYING SCHOOL:
Enroll in a DGCA approved flying school in India and Abroad. There are several flying schools across the countries that offer CPL flying training programs.
FLIGHT HOURS REQUIREMENT:
Complete a minimum of 200 hours of flight time, which includes specific types of flying ( solo, cross-country, instrument, emergency procedures.), as per DGCA guidelines.
COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE (CPL):
After accumulating the required flight hours (200 hours), along with Class I medicals, clearing DGCA examination, RTR and CPL flight training (multi-engine aircraft operations, instrument flying, night flying, and emergency procedures.)
